Thank you everyone so much for giving me so much feedback on that!
So this is what it looked like yesterday morning...
...and this is what it looked like last night!
...and this is what it looked like last night!
I took off the wooden accent with a putty knife, sanded down the glue, added trim all the way around the backsplash, painted it the same way that I did with the cabinets, then added an awesome barn star that I scored at Goodwill for $2.39.
So now I've been thinking....should I give those cabinet windows the same faux muntin treatment that I gave my house windows?

The Lineup:
-Framed Jewelry
-Burlap Pillow
-Pillow Accent
-Island Centerpieces
-A SURPRISE!!! (if you're an infrequent follower, you NEED to be here for the surprise! I'm thinking maybe Saturday...)
-Diaper Cake
I cannot believe what a difference that made! Looks wonderful.
